DYW Autumn Live Opportunities Event

DYW are excited to launch our new DYW Autumn Live Opportunities event.

 The event is an opportunity for school leavers and post-school young people aged 16-19 to engage with employers and partners who have live and upcoming vacancies. 

We are reaching out to regional employability partners working with post-school young people aged 16-19 who have not moved into a sustained positive destination. We would be delighted to welcome your organisation and accompanied young people who would benefit most from connecting with a range of supportive employers who will have entry-level vacancies and opportunities to be applied for on-the-day with support and following the event.

When:  Tuesday 18^th November 2025 1pm – 4pm

Where: Assembly Rooms, George Street, Edinburgh 

Target audience:

2025 winter leavers

2026 summer leavers at risk of a negative destination/not decided destinations and

recent school leavers

Attending employers:

Employers from a variety of growth & demand sectors, aligned to young people’s preferred routes & pathways, including Construction, Education & Training, Hairdressing & Beauty, Healthcare and Business, Management & Administration will be present on the day.

Attending partners: 

College – exhibiting January courses for winter leavers, August start courses for summer leavers.
Wider employability partners to run coaching workshops and sessions.
SDS – application support
