UK Government funds the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF). Local authorities distribute the fund for delivery across the UK.
Capital City Partnership is an arms-length body working with partners to tackle inequality and poverty and provides the programme management office for UKSPF Edinburgh. CCP’s core values are partnership, excellence, integrity, and innovation.
The CCP team work in partnership with the City of Edinburgh Council and the UK Government, to deliver the UK Shared Prosperity Fund Programme.
Philip Ritchie - Business Growth and Inclusion Contract and Programme Manager
Philip is the Business Growth and Inclusion Contract and Programme Manager at the City of Edinburgh Council. He has oversight of contracts and grants that are managed by Capital City Partnership, including the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
He has over two decades of experience of working in skills and employability in the statutory sector.
Philip led the commissioning of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund Edinburgh projects, designed to deliver on the three investment priorities: Communities and Place, Supporting Local Business, and People and Skills.
He also worked on the creation of the Edinburgh UKSPF investment plan.
Dr Kate Kelman - Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Capital City Partnership
Kate is Deputy Chief Executive at Capital City Partnership and she has oversight of all contracts and grants that we manage, including UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
Kate has over two decades of experience of working in skills and employability in the voluntary and statutory sectors. She is particularly interested in the opportunity that UKSPF affords to work collaboratively across the City to alleviate poverty and foster community wellbeing.
She is keen that providers within the programme have lots of occasions to network and share best practice.
Out of work, Kate is an active member of her local book group and is kept busy by her schnoodle, Molly.
Jessie Colligan - UK Shared Prosperity Fund Programme Administrator
Jessie works within the UK Shared Prosperity team. Previously, Jessie worked in employability for 2 years and completed an apprenticeship.
Jessie is leading administration and digital communications through the creation of a website and SharePoint for the UKSPF Edinburgh Network.
She will also be creating content for the UKSPF blog with case studies and photographs from projects, Capital City Partnership social media and a UKSPF Edinburgh newsletter.
Jessie, in her spare time, enjoys going to the cinema and being active by going to Pilates and walking.
