The Parental Transition Fund incl. additional transport costs

Brief Summary: The Parental Transition Fund supports parents by tackling the financial barriers parents face in entering further education, training, or employment. The fund is available to eligible parents from the six priority family groups who are registered with NOLB-funded projects.

Closing Date: 31/03/2027

Due to additional  funding being made available, eligible spend has been widened to include more travel and transport options for parents entering employment, training and education.

Transport related costs can be provided to parents or carers of dependent children who:

• Are currently in or entering employability training.
• Are entering work, increasing hours, or moving into sustainable employment.
• Are completing or transitioning from training into work.
• Can evidence that transport costs risk job start or job retention.
