This 1-day training session is for those new to employer engagement or who wish to develop their skills. It aims to build confidence when engaging with employers.
Learning Objectives
Participants will learn to:
- Present themselves and their service confidently
- Clearly differentiate between “asks” and “offers” when speaking with employers
- Tailor and deliver a short, impactful employer pitch using real employer needs
- Communicate support offers effectively
- Build trust and overcome objections.
Location
Training will take place at the Fort Kinnaird Recruitment and Skills Centre, 31 Fleming House, Edinburgh, EH15 3RD.
The session will begin at 9.30am and finish at 4.00pm, with catering provided over lunch.
