Join us to launch Change the Story during Challenge Poverty Week.

Poverty stigma is one of the most persistent barriers faced by people experiencing poverty. It shapes how services are delivered, how policies are made, and how people are treated in everyday life. Stigma is structural, not personal – and tackling it requires collective action.

Change the Story is a new campaign co-designed with families, practitioners, and communities across Scotland. Together, we’ve developed practical tools, a commitment for organisations, and real examples of how to challenge stigma in practice.

In this launch webinar, you’ll:

• Hear national insights on poverty stigma and its impacts from the Poverty Alliance
• Learn from Making it Work for Families in Fife, including the co-produced Stigma Toolkit
• See new training resources from End Poverty Edinburgh and the City of Edinburgh Council
• Engage with a diverse panel on what tackling stigma looks like in practice
• Be invited to take action by signing the Commitment and using the campaign resources
