NEST Network: Strengthening Support for Parents – Summer 2025

We’re excited to invite you to our in-person NEST Network Event, open to all services, providers, and partners across Edinburgh supporting parents – particularly those involved in employability, family support, or wellbeing networks, and programmes funded by No One Left Behind.

This event is a chance to connect, reflect, and collaborate. We’ll explore shared challenges, policy developments, and identify opportunities to strengthen whole-family and parental employability support across the city.

Key Timings

9:30 – 10:00 AM | Arrival and Registration
Sign in, grab a tea or coffee, and connect with colleagues before we get started.

10:00 – 12:30 PM | Main Sessions
A mix of presentations, networking activities, and group discussions focused on parental employability and whole-family support approaches.

12:30 – 1:00 PM | Networking Lunch
Enjoy a light lunch and informal conversation in a relaxed setting, with space to build connections across the network.

What to Expect

• Peer Learning and Networking – Share approaches, explore ideas, and connect with others delivering employability support for families.
• Welfare and Benefits Update – Hear from an advice specialist on the evolving welfare and benefits landscape for families, with time for Q&A.
• Shaping the Network – Share your views on future priorities: training needs, themes, and resources for 2025–26.
• Networking Lunch – Continue conversations with peers over a light buffet lunch.
