Working with Dementia (WWD) Network Plus is providing an informative one-hour webinar to learn about how the network is bringing together employers, people with lived experience of dementia, researchers, health and social care professionals and policy makers to address the social and financial inequalities experienced by people living with dementia and family carers in employment.

The session includes:

•        An Introduction to the Working With Dementia Network Plus

•        Insights into research and engagement activities

•        Discussion on creating dementia inclusive workplaces

•        Q&A

SUSE is a member of the WWD Stakeholder Advisory Group. Members have been in touch as they are coming across

• More clients with a diagnosis of dementia especially early onset dementia. And
• Younger disabled carers of parents who have a diagnosis of early onset dementia, who are trying to gain employment and are struggling with their caring responsibilities as well as their job searches.

This session will provide information on how to access additional support for clients and information/training for Supported Employment Service practitioners.
