Direct Partners is helping Scottish employees gain nationally recognised tech qualifications, without stepping away from their jobs or taking on any cost.

Through our SDS-funded work-based learning model, employees train while they work, applying new skills directly to real tasks and building evidence as they go. We currently deliver three qualifications, each matched to roles that already exist across Scottish workplaces:

• Data Analytics (SCQF Level 8) — the full analytics pipeline using Python, from data handling through to visualisation and decision-making.
• Digital Marketing (SCQF Level 7) — SEO, analytics, and digital strategy skills for those already working in marketing or content.
• Software Development (SCQF Level 8) — covering design, build, testing, and the full development lifecycle for coding teams.

Each qualification runs over roughly 12 months, combining monthly one-to-one trainer sessions with self-paced study and regular progress reviews involving the learner, trainer, and line manager.

Fully funded places are open to employees in paid work with a Scotland-based business, where the qualification fits their current role. Rolling start dates are available throughout the year, but places are limited.
