Supporting Change – Practical Skills for Relationship-Based Practice is designed for people working directly with individuals and families. The session will explore professional boundaries, motivational interviewing and restorative approaches, with practical tools and techniques that can be applied in day-to-day practice.
This workshop is designed for employability practitioners, third sector staff and volunteers, community development workers, support and key workers, case managers, and others working directly with people and communities.
This session will be led by Becky Whittaker, a trauma-informed coach, trainer and workshop facilitator with over 10 years experience working across community and public sector services. Becky has extensive experience in mental health, addiction, trauma and poverty prevention, and delivers training on topics including trauma-informed practice, group work, listening skills, boundaries, psychologically informed environments and de-escalation approaches.
