The City of Edinburgh Council and the Local Employability Partnership (LEP) are inviting applications for the Edinburgh Transport 2 Employment (Parents) Grants Programme, a pilot fund supported by Scottish Government No One Left Behind funding.
The programme aims to help parents in Edinburgh who are unemployed, economically inactive or experiencing in-work poverty overcome transport barriers to employment through activities such as cycle training, driving training, and travel confidence support. Applications are open to organisations delivering services for eligible parent groups, including lone parents, young parents, parents of disabled children, larger families, and minority ethnic parents.
Grants of up to £50,000 per project are available for a six-month pilot from 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027, with a possible extension to 31 March 2028, subject to funding availability and performance. Applications must be emailed to contracts@capitalcitypartnership.org by 12 noon on Monday 24 August 2026.
An optional online information session will be held on Tuesday 4 August 2026 from 9.00am-11.00am via Microsoft Teams. The session will provide an overview of the grants programme, application process and reporting requirements, along with an opportunity to ask questions.
To register, please email contracts@capitalcitypartnership.org by Monday 3 August. The Microsoft Teams joining link will be sent to registered attendees in advance of the session. Attendance is optional and is not a requirement for submitting an application.
