Edinburgh Project SEARCH is recruiting for our 2026/2027 Cohort

Brief Summary: Edinburgh Project SEARCH (EPS) provides employment and learning opportunities for young people with a disability.

Starting in August and lasting one college year, SEARCH interns will have the opportunity to:

• Attend every Monday to Friday
• Complete three different internships
• Complete over 600 hours of work experience and gain a college qualification
• Work towards a qualification and Project SEARCH coursework
• Gain skills needed for work.

A tutor and job coaches are based on-site to provide classroom learning and support.

Outcome results are very high, with 60 to 100% of interns moving into paid jobs.

To be eligible for Project SEARCH, candidates must:

• Be between 16 and 29 years old
• Want to secure a full-time job (16+ hours)
• Live within Edinburgh, East Lothian or Midlothian
• Have a recognised disability
• Be able to commit full time for one year
• Be able to travel alone or learn how to do this.

If you are a young person, service provider, parent, or teacher who thinks they may have a young person that would benefit from joining the programme, or just wish to know more about what Edinburgh Project SEARCH has to offer, then please come along.
