Amazon has launched the Regional Creatives Fund, offering grants of up to £30,000 to UK charities that develop creative industry career pathways. The fund aims to increase access to careers in creative industries for people from underserved communities, supporting programmes in publishing, music, gaming, film, TV, fashion, advertising, and more. This initiative aligns with the Department for Culture, Media and Sport’s recently announced Creative Places Growth Fund and aims to increase access to careers in the creative industries for people from underserved communities, including those across Scotland.

Grants will be awarded by an independent judging panel that includes senior leaders from Amazon, National Theatre, Arts Council England, the House of Commons, West Yorkshire Combined Authority, BAFTA, Help Musicians, and Music Minds Matter.

Beyond financial support, successful applicants will receive pro bono support from Amazon’s creative industry professionals, including mentoring, work experience, placement opportunities, and digital training from Amazon Music, Prime Video, and Amazon Games.
