About the courses:
Access to Industry would like to invite those eligible for our Access Data project to apply for our fully funded SQA-accredited courses:

The courses will be delivered in cooperation with Edinburgh College in our 156 Cowgate Community College starting in Aug 2026, 12th August and 20th August respectively. For details, please see the attached info-packs.
The aim of the courses is to equip participants with digital and data skills essential for life, education and work. All participants will also be supported by Access Data caseworkers, who can help them to tackle any issues in and out of the course and provide wider employability support.

- they are from a minority ethnic background

- families that have: a lone parent, a disabled adult or child; a mother aged under 25; a child under one; 3 or more children
To apply,
candidates should fill out the provided online application form:
https://forms.office.com/e/CtArg39CH6. The applications stage will be followed by short interviews to further assess course suitability.
Please note a change in our recruitment approach: being able to understand and fill out an online form will be treated as part of the assessment process, as learners joining either of our data courses should be able to do that with little to no support. We understand that long online forms can sometimes be overwhelming and so we are happy for the professionals to continue providing guidance with this, but we ask that you don’t fill out the form on behalf of your clients.
