The King’s Trust is seeking employers across Central and East Scotland to take part in the UK Government-funded Jobs Guarantee programme. The scheme offers eligible young people aged 18 to 24 a fully subsidised six-month paid job placement, with the Department for Work and Pensions covering 100% of eligible wage costs for 25 hours per week at the relevant minimum wage.
Employers will receive support throughout the placement, including recruitment, job matching and ongoing in-work support provided by The King’s Trust and our consortium partners. The programme aims to support 150 young people into sustainable employment across 12 local authority areas, while helping businesses access new talent and strengthen their social impact.
