Youth Guarantee will soon be rolled out across the UK in Spring. This will be done in a phased approach, with Phase one initially only in 6 areas across the UK, of which East and Central Scotland Districts are included, before national role out across the UK in the Autumn.
In a different approach from Kickstart, the sourcing of the job placements will be delivered by organisations who successfully apply for grant funding to deliver the program (in Kickstart – this was DWP resourced). The window for organisations to apply for grant funding opened yesterday.
Funding to support parents with entering further education, training, or employment.
The Parental Transition Fund supports parents by tackling the financial barriers parents face in entering further education, training, or employment. The fund is available to eligible parents registered with NOLB-funded projects.
